First Day Hike!

Start your year off well by joining a guided hike with a ranger!

Who?  No minimum age but must be capable of hiking or being carried 3 miles with 270 feet elevation gain/loss

What?  Guided hike under South and Lower South Falls learning about the park’s natural history.

When?  January 1st meeting at 10 am till approximately Noon

Where?  Meet on the South Falls Lodge Porch and hike the Maple Ridge/Canyon Trail Loop

Why?  To enjoy the special place we call Silver Falls and cherish time with friends and family!

This year’s Christmas Festival at Silver Falls was another big hit!  Well over 5,000 visitors braved the weather and enjoyed the weekend festivities.

A HUGE thanks goes to our many dedicated volunteers, partners, and staff.

This Weekend: 38th Annual Christmas Festival

Your next favorite holiday tradition awaits at Silver Falls this Saturday and Sunday from 11 am – 4pm daily.

The Historic District is decorated, free refreshments are ready, crafts are awaiting your creativity, and our bands and carolers are warming up.  Even our cougar is ready for the festivities!
